| Introduction | Ratandeep Satwant Singh is the pen name of Indian poet Ratandeep Singh. Taciturn, inane and delicate is how Ratan likes to describe himself. He is a passionate Software Engineer and loves to read literature, compose poetry, pen short romedies, run & pedal long distances, lend his voice to LibriVox and play guitar during his free time. He's a devoted (soi-disant) Sir Wodehouse's fanatic, ardently believes that what God is to reality, Sir JRR Tolkein is to fantasy and considers Sherlock Holmes to be the vividest fictional character ever created. An absurdist by temperament and a feminist at heart, his work touches upon the oppression of the delicately-nurtured sex in modern society. Ivory is his first anthology of poems.
