Introduction	This is a blog for my grand daughter Alice Stapleton. When I was a child I never bothered to ask my parents about my family. I was just not interested. Then they died and I had no idea of who my great grandparents were. I had no idea exactly what my father did during the war. I wish I had asked. This is my answer to the problem and an easy way to make a book as blogs are easy to publish and cheap. Every 50 pages and I shall have it printed for Alice to read when she gets older if she wants to do so. NO pressure. For the rest well my life is an open book so if anyone out there is interested feel free to browse.
