| Introduction | Peck was born on August 3, 1936. He graduated high school at 16 and enlisted in the Marine Corps two years later. He became a pilot at 19 and soon after began college. He graduated from Carrol College and the received his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin. He taught English at several universities. After retiring from teaching he started his career in writing. He has written numerous novels and continues to write. |
