| Introduction | As I start this I am an almost 48 year old woman...married over 22 years with three young men who call me Mom. I live in the country, somewhat isolated, and have moved so many times the isolation has taken on a form of "vocational training" if you will. Apart from my faith, my marriage has been the most defining role of my life. I don't think I've done very well at it, but as I grow older, I've begun to see where I might have done better, and where I hope to do better in the future. My concern for the state of marriage in our country, and the struggles I've had in my own have prompted this blog. |
