| Introduction | My name is Billie Ray Wells, a photographer in the mountains of North Carolina. This summer, I find that in flowers we learn lessons about how to live our lives, how to love others and learn to embrace the hard work of growing. Photographing flowers and growing them into works of art has become an act of worship. Flowers have their own lives manifesting joy and spreading a message of sweetness and delight. They are solace, joy, and delight. |
