Introduction	My husband and I just married on October 11, 2008 and life has only sped up since that special day. We were living just outside Chicago and had barely celebrated our 3rd month of marriage when we discovered we were pregnant! Although we could barely contain our excitement, we continued to plug through Winter and Spring, knowing many big changes were just around the corner. My husband finished his 4th year of medical school and graduated as a Doctor of Osteopathy in May. Meanwhile, I worked full time as an Employment Specialist on the South Side of Chicago. The week after commencement we moved closer to family in Indiana and became the proud owners of our first home. Rich began his 1st year of medical residency at the hospital here in June, and we continue to plan for our baby’s arrival. We hope this blog will help keep our family and friends in the loop as we eagerly await meeting the baby on/near September 23rd.
