| Introduction | About me. Hmm. I'm currently on a long-anticipated gap year after finishing a degree in Modern History and Politics at Oxford Uni. I kicked it off with a 9-week trip round East Africa in the summer with a friend, and now I'm going to try and cope without her for 6 months in South America. I've been wanting to do this for so long, I just hope it's as good as I've been building it up to be. Since Africa, I've been slaving away doing the breakfast (and every other) shift as a waitress in a naff local hotel, so it's got to be better than that. In the grand scheme of things (you know, career stuff) I'm still trying to figure out what to do with my life. But it's foolish to rush into these decisions, right? |
