Kevin Hendzel’s professional background includes an extended period working on the US-Russia Direct Communications Link, also known as the Presidential "Hotline,” where he was Senior Linguist of the technical translation staff. Since leaving the Hotline he has produced 34 published books and over 3,000 published articles in translation. Kevin Hendzel was appointed National Media Spokesman of the American Translators Association by its President in 2000. Kevin Hendzel has since appeared on CNN, Fox News Live, ABC World News Tonight, and many other major news outlets, promoting translation and interpretation services as vital to commerce, diplomacy, security, and culture.
