| Introduction | I'm an artist with a traditional studio arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin, as well as 2 years schooling in 3D animation and design. I am very interested in/in-tune with what I see as the foundation: where it all starts is color and shape, and the things involved in how they are perceived, and reacted towards by others. My daily thought vocabulary is inundated with these color relationships and is a big part of how I function, exist and find joy. I have found that be it photography, serigraphy, drawing, modeling or graphic arts, a solid traditional art education is invaluable and allows me to dig deeper into concepts and possibilities for great design. Much like playing an instrument, the more skills you have, the more expression (and versatility) you can enjoy. |
