Have spent the last 25 years or so as a brocanteuse.Passionate for 18th & 19th century French textiles and trims.I adore painted furniture so distressed that bits fall off as you walk by! I can get just as excited by a tiny silk chateau lampshade as I can a magnificent Aubusson tapestry.I want to keep everything I go truffling for!!! Perhaps I am a shopaholic and brocanting for my website is just a way to fuel my habit!
