Introduction I'm a bit of a renaissance woman, which is just a way of saying I lack focus and love getting into everything!

I have a BS in psychology and a Masters degree in teaching, as well as certifications in Human Resources and Software Testing. I am a certified Master Gardener and a member of the Oregon Glass Guild.

I currently reside in Battle Ground, WA, with my husband, our daughter, and various critters.

I find myself increasingly drawn towards a "country" lifestyle, and am honing my baking skills, learning about honeybees, taking fiddle lessons, and thinking about raising dairy goats. Since it seems to fit in with the trend of "green" and simple living and organic gardening, I thought I would share some of my experiences!

I have always loved to create, whether it be fabulous chocolate truffles or an intricate piece of jewelry. And more than that, I really love to share my creations with others. To know that I’ve created something that someone else loves, that’s touched some essential part of their spirit, gives me a great sense of connectedness and contentment.

Do you believe that forks are evolved from spoons?

Clearly they're closely enough related to interbreed. Witness the spork.
