| Introduction | Hey ya'll, welcome to my blog! My name is Desiree! I am currently 30 years old (wow, seems older written than spoke!). I'm married to a wonderful man named Matt who is 29, and mother to two very handsome boys, Triston who is 6 and Aiden who is 4...and a mama to our 8 year old female Husky dog Layla. That's our family, the 5 of us! I decided to start a blog to share some of the great memories our family will be making as we start to explore Michigan together. You see, I grew up here (so did Matt), and we have visited many places before we had kids. And now that we just moved back, we get to "start over" and visit them as a family and share them with your family! I love reading or hearing about the best family places to visit while on vacation, and I'm here to do that for YOU! |
| Interests | ANYTHING OUTDOOR!! Hiking, camping, fishing, biking, swimming, boogie boarding, skiing, snow boarding, horse back riding, and so on! We love the ocean, lakes, rivers and high places, like mountains! We are truly an outdoors family. |
| Favorite Movies | Our first son was named after a great movie, Legends Of the Fall, Tristan (played by Brad Pitt), but we spelled it Triston. I have tons, but just cant think of any right this second. |
| Favorite Music | Country music is a home run with me. I still like some of everything, but you wanna please this country girl, toss on some Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Sugar Land, Faith Hill or Luke Bryan! Yee-Haw! |
| Favorite Books | Well I just don't know how some moms do it...read?? I haven't read a book since my 1st son was just born. And that book was 'What to Expect the 1st year'. And now, 6 1/2 years later, I'm just starting the Hot series 'Fifty Shades of Grey'. |
