| Introduction | My name is Aden Hynes from AH Sculpture Studios. I am based in Southfields Ind Park Laindon. I am Basildon born and bred and have great pride in my home town Basildon. I studied Fine Art Sculpture at Maidstone College of Art for three years. After leaving college I did my apprentiship learning the ropes with professional model making workshops and various film studios for 7 years, mostly in and around London, sometimes taking me abroad, whilst still living in Basildon and commuting every day. I loved my work as a professional sculptor but could not find any openings for work in my field in the Essex area. My wife Sue and I wanted to start a family and live in Basildon, close to all our immediate family. I could not give up my career as a sculptor but, on the other hand, needed to be near home and not in London or roaming around the country. I decided to look for a workshop in the Essex area and start up a Sculpture Studio of my own. |
