| Introduction | Hello! Welcome to my blog! My name is Lynne (which is where Frugalynne comes from!) I am divorced with two grown children (who, alas, live with me). We also have 3 cats. My foray into frugality began as a small child trying to get the most I could out of that dime at the Ben Franklin and cutting coupons out for my Mom and lecturing her to use them. It continued as I married early and had two children with no college educations. Frugality was a necessity but also a promising challenge. It continues today as something that I don't think much about but I just do. I realize only how frugal I am when listening to other people speak. Then, in order to not be offensive or act like I know it all, I look at my fingernails and say "Hmmm". However, as I look around at the newer generation struggling, I feel I have some good things to share. So, take what you can, use it and leave the rest. There is always more than one way to do things right! |
