| Introduction | I grew up in Washington, D.C. loving football and basketball. The Redskins and Bullets were my teams and back then, going to games didn't cost a paycheck. Politics and sports got equal billing in my household, and I think that's why I always see the two as interconnected. And while the rest of the East Coast was diggin' on hip hop, my youth was filled with D.C.'s own Go Go music. If you're from there, I know you feel me. |
