Introduction	Ms. Straus is the author of "Bronx D.A.: True Stories from the Sex Crimes and Domestic Violence Unit." She is the author of numerous legal articles and is a writer for and on the editorial board of the magazine "ACC Docket." In 2010, Bronx DA was sold as a pilot to CBS/Paramount. She is currently completing two works of fiction: “The Collector,” an adult crime novel, and “Assimilation”, a young adult book. Sarena has appeared as a commentator numerous TV and radio shows including “Entertainment Tonight,” "The O'Reilly Factor," "The Abrams Report," "Good Day New York," "Catherine Crier Live," "MSNBC Dayside," WNYC radio's Leonard Lopate show, and on the US Radio Network, Court TV's "Bloom & Politan" and "Nancy Grace.” She was also featured in the Discovery Channel documentary, "Crime and Justice, The Bronx."
