Introduction	First you should know that I LOVE gardening. It is my passion. I love to talk about gardening with other gardeners and visit different gardens. My husband Barry and I moved to Tennessee from San Diego in January 2005. We bought a new construction home on 3.6 acres in the country in Middle Tennessee, zone 7. When we moved into our home there was nothing growing but the trees in the woods at the very back of the property and some pasture grass. It was, and still is, perfect for us because we were able to start from scratch and create the garden of our dreams. Our first flower bed was 4x6 feet and each year we've added more beds. As of December 2012, we have approximately 10,000 square feet of flower beds as well as a large vegetable garden. My husband and I are very proud to be Master Gardeners and our gardens were featured on the Montgomery County Master Gardener's Garden Tour in June, 2012 and in an episode of Nashville Channel 5's "Talk of the Town". We share our home with our 6 dogs and lots of wildlife. Because we enjoy watching the wildlife so much, we have certified our property as a wildlife habitat.
Interests	My passion is gardening, but I also enjoy hiking, biking and playing golf. I love animals and visiting botanical gardens and the gardens of other gardeners.
