Introduction	My name is Tanya and I have always loved libraries for as long as I can remember. I think it's because as an elite athlete and always traveling on behalf of Canada, I was never around when it came to school trips to the local library. I always felt like I was missing something significant and it turned out I was! After I retired from working with elite athletes it was my longtime goal to become a librarian and after nearly 10 years, I am well on my way! I have two lovely grown children that I am very proud of! As young adults both were elite level athletes and musicians and both are not long finished their tenure with Ontario Universities. I have two beautiful Golden Retrievers; McGuigan who is a Therapy Dog and Eoghan who is only 2! Gwiggs and Yogi bring much joy to my life. I hike beautiful forests and hug them as often as I can. They love children, to swim and are wonderfully loyal and kind. Not sure that I can even imagine life without them. My greatest desire is the pursuit of knowledge and thus my love of reading!
