Introduction | I decided to start a blog because I enjoyed reading blogs and thought it was only "fair" that I have one of my own. When I started my blog in May 2007, I called it "Do I have anything to say?" because I was unsure what I would write about, or who would care. I have chosen to keep the name to remember where I started, even though "blogging" has brought amazing people into my life. I am learning that while my life at 33 isn't what I expected it to look like, God knows what He is doing. I have been taking care of "younger people" for as long as I can remember. I am a pediatric nurse working in a hospital with many kids who have chronic conditions. I am a licensed foster parent and received my first placement in June 2010. They were reunited with their family on September 30, 2011. I received my second placement on September 6, 2012. I believe that making a difference in other people's lives is my "calling". This is my life, my journey...and it is beautiful. Enjoy! |

You can punch a hole in an apple using a straw. How do you think that makes your milkshake feel?
Huh? I really don't think I could punch a hole in an apple with a straw...really, I don't think I could!
