Introduction	Hi, My name is Yanti Turang, I am an RN from Australia with Midwifery experience, currently living in New Orleans. Since living here I have had friends who have fallen pregnant which is always exciting. I began to wonder what services in New Orleans were offered other than seeing an obstetrician, surely there is a maternal child health care centre's here? Unfortunately there isn't. We are so fortunate in Australia that during postpartum period up until a year you as a new mum are linked into the local Maternal child health centre which also gives you access to a mothers group. I have started 'Nola Mothers Group' to fill the gap for these new mums. We meet monthly and every month we have a new little baby join us too, its very exciting. The group is available to mothers from 10 weeks into there pregnancy. If you are interested in joining I will post the date and time for each meeting, or just follow us on our 'Nola Mothers group' site.
