| Introduction | My name is Steven Lacey. I'm a Qualitative Researcher and co-creation facilitator at Essential Research. I have set up the concept of Enviro-Creation because I am a strong believer in participation democracy. I believe that the public needs to be empowered so that they can have more of a say in what they want from their society and environment, both locally and nationally. Enviro-Creation is a great way to reconnect and rebuild the bridge between communities and institutions, by allowing the public to work with you and not against you. Enviro-Creation uses creative techniques and leverages the power of online communities in order to immerse and involve the public within the decision-making process, so that they can become the architects of their own worlds. |
