| Introduction | My name originated from my Irish father who saw the flowers blooming in the spring and decided his fifth child should be named Iris Ann. I was born on a farm in South Texas and I attended Parochial school almost all my life. I married a man who is sensitive, caring and enjoys many of the same things that I love. We both help each other keep in touch with reality. A product of our love are our two daughters, Sarah and Hannah. They are both mature ladies who have very interesting lives. Much to my elation, we have a son-in-law, Greg (the son I never had) and he's perfect. My joy of life right now is my first grandson. I loved teaching more than eating or shopping. I taught Pre-k fours and loved the smell of crayolas and play dough. But, most of all, I loved the hugs and kisses I received on a regular basis. My blog is for teachers of young or old who need at times a laugh, a shout out or just some verse from the Bible that will keep them up and running. Laughter, humor, and joy, joy, joy are the reasons I write to you. In Jesus name, amen. |
