| Introduction | Before teaching elementary school, I had various jobs, ranging from garment shops to oil refineries to power plants to web design. I also taught part-time at Ohlone College and was a museum poet for the Oakland Museum of California. In past summers I have been a Teacher-Ranger at the Peralta Hacienda for the U.S. Park Service and attended the Project Zero Classroom at Harvard. I have a certificate in Arts Integration and am concerned that education address the whole child and not just the annual tests. |
