Introduction Over the past 30 years, Dr. Hilliard Slavick has helped treat more than 50,000 people, been an instructor at highly regarded medical universities, made scores of presentations at medical conferences and served as an expert on well over 500 legal cases. The conditions he most frequently treats include migraine headaches, Alzheimer’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, and Parkinson’s Disease. In 1979, the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology certified Dr. Slavick as a specialist in neurology. In 1989, the American Academy of Pain Management certified him in pain management. He has served as team neurologist for the Chicago Blackhawks and neurological consultant for the Chicago White Sox and the Chicago Bears. In 2001, Chicago magazine selected him as one of the top 10 neurologists in the city. Dr. Slavick has been instrumental in the creation of two charitable foundations: the Frieda Shiner Memory Center Fund and the Hilliard E. Slavick (Charitable) Neurological Foundation. Dr. Slavick resides in Chicago with his wife of 36 years, Jackie. They have two grown children.
