| Introduction | PARKER YOUNG: Forever Young by Alphaville still takes me back to my prom. Not one, but two, proms as my school had it as the theme twice..... I grew up believing that life was a John Hughes movie and depending on the day it could be anything from Sixteen Candles to Pretty in Pink to The Breakfast Club. It's 27 years later and I am still waiting for Jake Ryan to return my panties..... the geek still has them. LIBBY WILLIAMS: In the 80's, I was Claire Standish – period! I attended the same High School as Parker and suffered through the same 2 Proms with the same theme....the early beginings of reuse/recycle I guess - HA! These days the Claire in me is hidden and only surfaces when: 1)I am fighting with my husband Wyatt, 2)Fighting with my family and/or inlaws 3)Trashing people with Parker 4)Drink RED wine. I am the truth to the John Hughes lies. The leopard may be forced to wear faux fur now but it never truly changes its spots. |
