Introduction	Wow, nothing like a brief look into a complex statement! :) I am the proud parent of a beautiful preschool girl and a gorgeous baby boy. I am also a 3rd grade teacher at an inner city Konxville school and most recently a TAP mentor. Most of my time is spent with children so there are times when I revert to my childlike innocence. I am married to one of the (soon to be) great archaeologists - other than Indiana Jones, of course (note to all archaeologists - Indie is not a REAL archaeologist- DUH) . We have been married for over 7 years now although we have been together since high school (over fourteen years for those who keep track). We have (dare I say it?) 2 cats. One is a recent rescue from the harsh streets of inner city Knoxville. And 1 dog - he rocks. I am a Trekkie, although not crazy hard core. I enjoy hanging out with a group of good friends, having a few drinks, going to coffee shops, hiking, reading and traveling. My newest hobby is photography and I am loving it!

Favorite movies	While You Were Sleeping, Pirates of Carribbean, any Star Trek movies, Lord of the Rings, Super Troopers, Tommy Boy, House of Flying Daggers, Hero, Beautiful Mind, Back to the Future Trilogy, Overboard (I'm secretly a huge Goldie Hawn fan), -- so many movies, so little time to list them all. ;)
Favorite music	Americana, Folk, Blues, Rock, Alternative, Bluegrass, Classic Rock, 80's, Country... Pretty much anything!!
Favorite books	ANYTHING WRITTEN BY DEAN R. KOONTZ; Harry Potter, John Saul books, Dan Brown books, Stephen King books, Timeline, Good in Bed, Little Earthquakes, My Sister's Keeper (actually anything by Jodi Piccoult), Gathering Blue, the Giver, Memoirs of a Geisha, the Eyre Affair, Eragon (& Eldest), Chicken Soup for the Soul books, Dangerous Minds, Jemima J, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Tuesdays with Morrie, The Five People You Meet in Heaven, Little Women, Of Mice and Men, Pride and Prejudice ... too many to name as I'm a bibliophile with seven large bookcases full
