Introduction	A teacher by profession at kendriya vidyalaya ballygunge and an eminent social work, is the recipient of NATIONAL AWARD FOR TEACHERS-2007 This learning project was initiated by me , who has completed 23 years of teaching in kendriya vidyalaya sangathan .I am a Postgraduate in History and completed B.Ed from the University of Calcutta. I am also a post graduate Diploma holder in Human Rights from Indian Institute of Human Rights .A group of Enthusiastic , motivated ,students have joined me, and our goal is to make the project relevant to the students' lives, so that they could make an impact in their present environment
