| Introduction | I am a United Church of Canada minister who lives and works in Oakville, Ontario. In most of my sermons I attempt to bridge the gap between the "mystical" and the "practical"; the sense of God's presence and how in our daily living we respond to that Presence. I think that theology, and much of scripture is made up of poetic attempts to come to terms with the ultimate mystery of God. Outside of my work in the church, I am happily occupied with my family, and with running. I have completed my training and study with the Jubilee Program in Spiritual Formation and Direction, and have added a small spiritual direction practice to my life in ministry. |
