Introduction	Rod Gonzalez is an MBA Candidate at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Prior to this Rod was an Investment Performance Analyst at Northern Trust and a Fixed Income Portfolio Strategist at RBC Wealth Management. As a portfolio strategist, Rod focused on taxable products with an emphasis on preferred securities and corporate bonds. Rod worked with financial consultants in portfolio structuring and reviews, identifying and implementing market strategies. He was also a frequent writer of short economic commentaries for the group’s "Fixed Income News" and Emerging Market's newsletter: "LATAM Fixed Income Daily". Rod graduated magna cum laude from Augsburg College in Minneapolis majoring in Business Finance. He spent one year at the Tecnologico de Monterrey University in Guadalajara, Mexico and a semester at the Sorbonne University in Paris, France
