Introduction	The Phoenix is a mythical bird that, according to legend, lives for a hundred years, and then catches fire and burns to ashes. But out of the ashes of its former life, it is reborn...thus starting the cycle anew. My husband and I have adopted this creature of renewal that is so representative of our lives as our personal symbol. Out of the ashes of our former lives, we, too have been resurrected as a new entity...forged by the fires of hell, perhaps...but now lifted by the wings of a renewed Spirit. We have been blessed with a second chance at life...and we don't intend to waste a second of it.
