About me

Location London, United Kingdom
Introduction In 2011 I worked with Fair Trade Alliance Kerala (FTAK) in India and kept this blog. Since then some time has passed but after a recent meeting with Tomy Matthews from FTAK, we decided to relaunch this blog as a way of communicating the innovative and interesting projects they are working on. And to discuss some of the challenges and opportunities facing farmers in India. Of course as with all blogs these are just my own thoughts rather than the official FTAK or Fair Trade line. But I'd love to hear your thoughts, questions or challenges! A very brief cv: I have just started a new post as the Activism Coordinator for Oxfam (please note this blog has nothing to do with that role and these posts and thoughts are only my own!) I've recently left a job with Sustrans, a sustainable transport charity. Before this I worked as the Development Officer for Fair Trade Wales for three years and prior to this worked for the British Association for Fair Trade Shops and interned for the World Fair Trade Organisation.
