Introduction	My friends call me Tim Skyscraper, mostly because they can't pronounce my real last name. When I was 21, I scored a job in a wine and spirits shop, started writing and never stopped. More recently, I have contributed articles about wine to the San Francisco Chronicle, Decanter, The Wine News, Tasting Panel, The Wave, Cooking Pleasures, Wines & Vines, Vineyard and Winery Management and other wine and spirits publications. I spend a lot of time thinking about food and music. I do not consider myself to be a wine snob, but I plead guilty to being an unbearable snob when it comes to music.
