| Introduction | I am a philosopher of medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine. I analyze ethical issues in choices about having children as well as ethical issues in genetics, sexuality and medicine, and the design and conduct of research. At present, I am writing a book -- The Ethics of Genetic Change: Moral Effects in the Lives Ahead -- on the consequences of genetic modification for how we think of our moral relationship to one another. |
