| Introduction | Cathy Crenshaw Doheny is an award-winning freelance writer and journalist. Her work has been featured by many local and national publications, including Adoption Today Magazine, Liver Health Today and Faith and Family Magazine. She is currently a freelance editor for POSE Magazine. Cathy's creative nonfiction pieces have been published in numerous anthologies, including "A Cup of Comfort for Mothers," "Pets Across America 2" and "Root Exposure - New Voices in Literature." Cathy is the "Famous Operas" contributing writer for "The Daily Book of Classical Music" published by Walter Foster Publishing. Recently, she was also honored to have her work published in the National Council for Adoption's "Adoption Fact Book", the most comprehensive source of adoption facts and statistics available. Cathy and her husband, Kevin, are the proud parents of an 8-year-old daughter, Jade Chun'an, whom they adopted through the China Waiting Child Program. |
