| Introduction | Hello, I am a single mom of four girls, widowed in 2006. I am also 46 years old. Going back to school after a long hiatus has its challenges and rewards. I am trying to balance them out. Life has thrown me a couple of curve balls, but I have learned how to swing them into outfield. I am now exploring my passion for writing. So, here I am, majoring in English with a creative writing emphasis and publishing arts minor. I am president of the Publishing Club at Lewis-Clark State College. In addition, I am a consultant at LCSC's Writing Center. |
| Interests | Reading, writing, and arithmetic (jk about the arithmetic--I just like the way that sounds), horseback riding, camping, swimming, summer BBQs with friends and family, and spending time with my four girls. |

| Favorite music | Top 40 hits, 70s, 80s, and some country. |
| Favorite books | Mystery, romance, how-to books on writing, editing, publishing,and self-publishing. I self-published a cookbook called "101 Famous Potato Recipes" as part of a speech class in 1990. I didn't make any money, but it was a fun experience. |
