| Introduction | Married twice, three grown children. Have two dogs, one cat, and a cocktiel that belongs to youngest son who is in Air Force. Have worked as waitress in my teens, then later as bookkeeper in two banks, a radio station receptionist and scheduler, and last as a police dispatcher. Now retired and spending a lot of time putting off until tomorrow what I should be doing today. Three talents I wish I had are writing, singing, and playing a musical instrument. One talent I do have, listening. Strangers seem to find me to tell me about their lives, and I was once approached by a lady in Wal-Mart who requested my help in picking out a pair of shoes. She then proceeded to tell me about her late husband, where he was buried, etc. Normal day for me. |
