| Introduction | My name is Mata Elliott, and I am the author of the inspirational novel, Forgivin' Ain't Forgettin', published by Grand Central Publishing in 2006. Forgivin' Ain't Forgettin' is the story of Cassidy Beckett and Trevor Monroe, two people with strong feelings for each other, yet both harbor deep emotional wounds and cannot move forward until they learn the true meaning of forgiveness. Currently, I write full-time, and I'm working on my next novel. I attended Temple University where I earned a degree in elementary education. I taught for ten years. At the present, I volunteer at a charter school. When I'm not writing or working with children, I eat sweets, exercise, watch TV, play with my 18 year old cat, and disagree with my beloved husband. I love reading, too. I'm a Christian whose hope lies in Jesus Christ. He is my guide, my source of strength, and the light in my life. |
