Introduction	The mission of “A Chance at Life” Animal Rescue Organization is to make a positive difference in the lives of companion animals, primarily through monetary donations, fund raisers and community support. Because “A Chance at Life” is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and we abide by a no-kill policy, we are totally reliant upon private donations and fund raising events for our operating budget. “A Chance at Life” receives no local, state or federal funding. All of our funding comes from the donations of those who want to help us save as many companion animals as possible. 100% of the profits or proceeds we receive go directly to the care of rescued animals through legitimate local & statewide rescue groups. “The Dali Lama says that it is only through compassion and reaching beyond ourselves that human beings will ever know true happiness.”
