| Introduction | Born in 1963 to an entrepreneurial family in Iran. Father Hamid opened his first ten storey department store in Tehran in 1966. By 1978 he employed thousands of people in department stores, supermarkets and factories. At 15, Mamad began studying in the UK and achieved the highest ever score for his school's internal examinations. He went on to study Accountancy. In 1981, aged 18 and a full time student, Mamad started a real estate agency from his bedroom with just £100, selling and letting properties owned by family and friends. In 1984, he sold a Knightsbridge house that had been on the market for 2 years. Mamad quickly advertised the London property in the Middle East's leading newspapers to a phenomenal response. Two months later the house sold for a record £1m. Mamad then convinced the new owner to resell the house at a much higher price. After 10 months the house was sold to a Middle Eastern Royal for £1.75m. These early successes gave Mamad the connections and confidence to build a highly successful career in the property industry. His investment intelligence, knowledge of the international property market and network of contacts make his a unique and invaluable offering. |
