Introduction	Domestic goddess I am not. I’m a fiery little bottle brunette clumsily navigating my way around my kitchen and home when not practicing law. I live in Southern California with my gorgeous silver fox who plays cricket and collects vintage motorcycles. We also live with four lovable dogs who melt my heart and only sometimes drive me a little crazy. While I’ve always loved hosting parties for friends and family, I fell in love with cooking and baking after purchasing my first Barefoot Contessa cookbook a little over three years ago. Now, you can find me in the kitchen most evenings trying out recipes or creating recipes that I never previously thought possible. This blog is about the successes (and failures) I’ve experienced along my self-guided culinary journey.
Interests	Traveling, flea markets, entertaining, food, wine, cooking, baking, foreign languages (Spanish and French), writing, decorating, walking, my dogs and animal rights issues
Favorite movies	Generally, I love independent/foreign films with complex and interesting characters and/or set in dreamy locations for e.g., Chocolate, My House in Umbria and Howards End. I also love older films - To Catch A Thief, High Society, Sabrina. They make me long for an era I never knew,yet miss terribly.
Favorite music	Bruno Merz, Bob Marley, U2, Dave Matthews Band, Colin Hay,
Favorite books	Most recently, I enjoyed The God of Small Things, The Elegance of the Hedgehog, Sarah's Key, The Kite Runner, Outliers.
