IntroductionKristin Swenson-Lintault, a painter whose works examine origins, connections, textile structures and natural forms integrating drawing/painting/printing using encaustic/mixed media. Her MFA 96' in Fiber/Textiles and BA Studio Art at S. Illinois University, included residency in Scotland, Japan and S. Korea to study natural dyes, textile printing, washi and wood-fired ceramics. Her work has been exhibited in shows locally, nationally and Nakajo, Japan, and featured on the covers of "Translational Perspectives in Auditory Neuroscience" a textbook series by Tremblay/Burkard. Her work is included in the permanent collection at the Brooklyn Art Library and Museum of Encaustic Art in Santa Fe, NM. and exhibits work at the Encaustic Art Institute Gallery in Santa Fe. She oversees operations of five college galleries including the Behnke Gallery and BFA exhibitions at 9th Ave. Gallery, Art Dept. studios, and multiple 2D/3D Resource Labs at Cornish College of the Arts at Seattle University.
