Introduction	I hold a BC Regional Innovation Chair in Tourism and Sustainable Rural Development at Vancouver Island University. In this role I work closely with partners at other BC education institutions, government agencies, operators and community leaders to share information, innovation, and ideas to support rural areas to diversify through tourism.
Interests	Exploring BC's rural and remote areas by foot, horseback or vehicle. I am a small scale organic farmer (garden, pigs, chickens), a competitive trail rider (horseback), an artist and photographer and raise Australian Cattle Dogs.
