| Introduction | I'm deployed to Kuwait with the Army National Guard. Given my rank, position and the nature of my work I don't interact with many people outside of work. I don't do anything glamorous...I don't have "launch codes" or anything. The one thing I miss the most is the conversations with my friends back in DC. I miss the discourse, the disagreements, the free flow of ideas, and idealism from both sides of the aisle. That and my motorcycle.... and Scotch.... ...and women in skirts... |
