Introduction I was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at birth. I was very blessed to be able to live a relatively normal and healthy childhood and youth. However, in my mid-twenties CF began to rear its ugly head and I began to become more and more sick. Finally in 2008, with a lung function below 25%, found myself in need of a double-lung transplant. After waiting over 18 months, I finally received my Gift of Life in June of 2010 and have been so thankful for this gift ever since. About a month after my transplant I dusted off my old Mountain Bike to try get back into shape and I have not looked back since!
