| Introduction | My name is Stephanie, but long ago a friend of mine started calling me Stevie, a nod to my favorite singer (then and now) as well as my singing voice, and much to my mother's chagrin (her ex-husband and my dead-beat father's name is Steve), it stuck! I was a teen mom, as my oldest (only birth child) arrived when I was 17. I somehow managed to pull my life out of the downhill slope it had been headed in before his arrival, and graduated high school early, and continued to succeed in further education as well as obtaining a career, all while raising my son and supporting ourselves financially on my own. My life has been VERY interesting! Follow me, and I will share more, from time to time. Trust me, it's a good read! |
| Interests | Home Improvement DIY, reading, gardening, saving money, smart shopping, family, animal rescue, making money, saving money, parenting challenges, the beach, the river, the lake, nature life |

| Favorite music | Rock (80s hair bands, thrash, classic, metal, if it ROCKS, I like it) R&B, especially from the 90s Country, but not a lot of new country-some, but mostly Garth Brooks, etc) 90s Rap- when it was really about something |
| Favorite books | I read. A lot. But cannot remember all of the ones off the top of my head. I do love this one, "Ride the Wind: It is a fictionalization of a true story about a 9 yr old white settler child kidnapped and raised as Comanche, and in fact married a Comanche chief and was the mother of the last free Comanche chief. Fabulous read, I read it at least once a year. |
