With an extensive repertoire of Irish traditional and contemporary folk music, mixed with a dash of Scots songs and Celtic-influenced American pieces, the band have entertained audiences at bars, clubs and functions throughout Singapore and South East Asia. Originally started as a small acoustic group, the line-up of Gan Ainm has changed over the years to their current 7-piece folk-rock incarnation. The band are: Paul Hannon (vocals / bodhran); Alexander Gow (violin / electric mandola / vocals); Neville Smith (whistles / flute / electric bagpipes /sax); Miles McLean (guitar / bass / vocals); Eoin Ó Muimhneacháin (squeezebox / vocals); Julian O’Connell (bass / guitar / vocals); and Justin La Spina (drums). |
