the superglue is not so super, it eventually comes apart, everything eventually comes apart. the olive pits signify both an end, the end of your olive experience, and the beginning, this pit is really a seed. mother has birthdays, had birthdays, will have birthdays, will have no more birthdays. and it is all so sad and it is all so beautiful.
