| Introduction | I am currently a student, yet undecided about my future work. Although I intend on writing, I see no clear delineation as to the application of it--both in my private and professional lives. Therefore, I simply write and accept the manifest consequences both privately and professionally. Please visit me on myspace: www.myspace.com/negapod |

| Favorite movies | My taste in film tends to parallel my taste in other forms of art--particularly, my taste in music. I believe that Noise is an operational philosophy with an unprecedented and rather potent aptitude for transcending mediums, and that with the rise of digital as predominant to film we will see a more clearly defined conception of what "Noise Film" might imply. One very promising technique in this regard is known as Datamoshing--something quite impossible without the onset of the current digital paradigm. |
| Favorite music | Music is undeniably the greatest love and influence of my life. When asked about the style of my writing, I find it makes most sense to say that I am merely playing music with words. In this view, a piece of writing, like music itself, is intended to flow and to be representational--a conduit through which the things being represented become observable and objectively existent. The beauty of music is inherently bittersweet, as it simultaneously elevates and isolates those who are most affected by its form and meaning. In other words, music is the essential and representational tool by which the thing being represented is felt or comprehended, yet dually the dividing line between that which understands and that which is understood. It is this indirect, contradictory, and bittersweet function of music that most profoundly moves me, and is surely the seat of my fascination with Noise. |
