| Introduction | Half-way through seminary, a student who is learning more from the lived experience than the classes, which are rich meals filled with tantalizing tidbits. Coursework is fun, poses challenges to mind, heart and soul, and are the meat and potatoes fuel me. The lived experience is filled with sweet things, piquant things, spicy things and bitter things. All of these things combine, and conspire to cleanse, clarify, take apart and reassemble the bits and pieces of being so that the bags, blotchy spots, unnecessary burdens, hurts and sadnesses may be left by the side of the road. Sharing here this journey, hoping to teach and heal as I am taught and healed. |
