History Loves You

About me

Introduction	As a lover of history and a dedicated high school teacher (working hard for my money!), I tell my students "History Loves You" because it's important that they know that history is not some dry, boring timeline of facts. By taking a negative perception and turning it into a positive one, it helps them to hopefully see that history is only dry and boring if it's taught that way. Rather, history is about significant and exciting stories - ideas that shape who we are as a people still to this day. History is all around us, and "history IS us" - the story of US; history happens everyday........ history matters, so "Educate to Liberate".
